Advocate Maruf Hasan is an associate member of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) from the UK. He is an Advocate and the member of the Bangladesh Bar Council and a member of the Dhaka Bar Association.
He is obtained several arbitration and business negotiation courses from the Bangladesh International Arbitration Centre (BIAC), the first international arbitration institution of the country for Alternative Dispute Resolution. He is BIAC listed panel arbitrator.
Mr. Maruf is an associate (Financial Crime and Fraud Litigations) of the renowned law chamber called ‘‘REZA & Associate’’ owned by Advocate Rezal Karim, Public Prosecutor for the Anti-Corruption Commission (ACC) and Special Prosecutor for the Bangladesh Securities and Exchange commission (BSEC). He is also a Legal Advisor – Infrastructure Transaction of PPP office, Prime Minister’s office as well as with other local and MNC.
He has over seven years of practice experience in the UK with a range of experience in audit, taxation, VAT Investigations and financial consultancy. After returning to Bangladesh, Mr. Maruf joined with ACNABIN Chartered Accountants where he was focused on investigative & performance audit for regulatory bodies, business valuations and consultancy. He also worked as Head of legal and Financial Compliance in the BTRC licensed IGW, Banglatrac Communications Ltd, for more than four years before he moved to Kingston Smith an UK LL.P specialize on dispute resolution services as a Forensic Accountant (Kingston Smith Bangladesh Limited is a UK Incorporated Company and a 100 percent subsidiary of Kingston Smith LLP which is top 20 accounting practice in the UK)
Mr. Maruf is the CEO of Fernhill Consulting House and currently offering all types business dispute resolution and mediation services apart from his legal engagement with various organisations.
